Autonomous vehicle platform

Over the past few years I have been really interested in automating stuff, I have been learning python to do the software stuff, and using Arduino to do any hardware related stuff.


With that in mind for the past 4 years, I have had an idea in my head to build a simple 4 wheel drive rover with a pixhawk / mission planner to allow me to upload GPS waypoints and run missions.

Late last year I started buying the parts needed.

  • sabertooth 2A motor controller
  • 5200mAh battery
  • 4x gear motors
